Salary range: GS-15 ($136,908 to $183,500)

Your salary, including base and locality, will be determined upon selection, dependent on your actual duty location. Please note the maximum salary available for the GS pay system is $183,500. Role summary

Login.gov is the public’s one account for government, simplifying access to government benefits and services for members of the public by enabling them to reuse one secure account across government agencies, and improving the security of government systems by enabling agencies to leverage a shared technology service to provide strong authentication and identity verification services to their customers.

The Login Director of Partnerships is responsible for all external partnerships outside of the core Login.gov product to lead the organization to meet the overall Login.gov program goals. This includes leading and building relationships with key agency partners, leading the Login.gov account management team, sales and marketing teams, communications team, and contact center. The Director will leverage customer experience best practices to build a cohesive partnerships practice across all of the touchpoints Login.gov has with agency partners, end users and the public.

The Director of Partnerships represents and speaks for the Login.gov Director on Login.gov initiatives and services with senior GSA officials, other top-level executives from public and private industry, federal agencies, the news media and other public media outlets.

Key objectives

1. Lead Login.gov partnerships organization to support and expand the Login.gov program

  • Lead the Login.gov partnerships organization to develop and execute a strategy to expand Login.gov usage throughout the government.

  • Develop and design organizational structures and practices to enable execution by individual business units under Login.gov partnerships.

  • Develop and execute policies, plans, and initiatives to ensure effective growth, continual development, and sustainment of the Login.gov program.

  • Identify and remove barriers to achieving the desired change, developing an operational roadmap, and maintaining high-quality, strong delivery.

  • Develop staffing plans to ensure that Login.gov’s delivery organization has the right staff in place to deliver on key product and program initiatives.

  • Supervisor for Login.gov employees in account management, communications and user support.

  • Oversee team responsible for analyzing and reporting on contact center performance, including call volumes and resolution rates.

  • Oversee team responsible for agency support.

  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure data and trends from the contact center inform product delivery decisions.

2. Develop Login.gov’s public presence in government and the digital identity ecosystem

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive communications strategy.

  • Build and manage a team of communication professionals to ensure the delivery of high-quality and efficient communications.

  • Serve as a primary spokesperson for Login.gov including partner engagements, supporting TTS Outreach with media and congressional inquiries, and external reporting.

  • Find and execute opportunities for thought leadership for the Login.gov program.

3. Apply data driven sales and marketing practices to onboard new partners to Login.gov.

  • Oversee the development and implementation of sales management processes, pipeline, account planning, and partner integrations in order to scale revenue.

  • Develop data driven strategies and meet customer challenges, and share insights with the product delivery team.

  • Collect and evaluate qualitative and quantitative metrics to assess pipeline health and identify opportunities.

  • Establish both short-term results and long-term strategy, including revenue forecasting.

  • Partner with the product delivery team to identify opportunities to expand product offerings based on partner requirements and recognize tradeoffs in different strategic decisions.
